Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha will attend the launching ceremony of the “Korea Diplomacy Center (KDC)” to take place at the KDC in Seocho-dong on October 19.

The KDC is a comprehensive diplomatic community center incorporating facilities for passport and other consular services, and connecting the Public Academy for Diplomacy, a forum for communication and learning, and the Center for Participatory Diplomacy.

In her congratulatory remarks, Minister Kang will voice hope on the KDC’s role as an open diplomatic platform that reaches out closer to the people.
