Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha will have telephone conversations with her counterparts of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Republic of Moldova today, April 7, as well as the Republic of Finland tomorrow, April 8.

Minister Kang has had teleconferences with her counterparts of about 25 countries since the COVID-19 alert level of the Republic of Korea was raised to the “red (serious)” level on February 23.

In response to the global spread of COVID-19, the ROK government has been continuing bilateral and multilateral international collaboration and cooperation at various levels through telephone and video conferences.
