Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

On March 25, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha will attend as a key speaker the video conference regarding the “COVID-19 Action Platform” of the World Economic Forum, which is located in the Swiss Confederation.

During the conference, Minister Kang will explain the progress in the COVID-19 response made by the government of the Republic of Korea on the basis of the principles of openness and transparency, and underscore the importance of solidarity and cooperation of the international community for overcoming the situation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been continuing to step up international collaboration and cooperation in response to the global spread of COVID-19.
