Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Tae-ho, together with Assistant Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China Li Chenggang, will hold the 23rd Joint Economic Committee meeting of the Republic of Korea and the People’s Republic of China at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the morning, tomorrow, June 19.

In the upcoming meeting, the two sides will review the progress in the ROK-China economic cooperation; and discuss key matters of mutual interest and the mid- to long-term direction for advancing economic cooperation.

The Joint Economic Committee meeting is expected to help boost exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
