Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Kyung-wha will meet with Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Lassina Zerbo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 30.

In the meeting, the two sides will exchange views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula, and discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the CTBTO.

On the same day, Executive Secretary Zerbo will hold a luncheon with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Tae-ho. On May 31, Executive Secretary Zerbo will attend the “CTBTO-Youth Dialogue,” which will be held on the occasion of the ROK's chairmanship of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization in 2019.
