Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Today, I have one announcement to make.

The Foreign Ministry will hold the launching ceremony of a P4G (Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030) platform in the Republic of Korea and the fourth Green Round Table at Lotte Hotel, downtown Seoul, on July 27.

The events will serve as an opportunity to introduce to the participants and the public the P4G platform to be launched in the ROK, the third of its kind after those in Denmark and Vietnam, with the aim to step up private-public partnership in the field of green economy; as well as an opportunity to discuss ways to invigorate private-public cooperation to build a circular economy and ways for a sustainable management of water -- two of the five focus areas of the P4G.

At the event, Ambassador for Climate Change Yoo Yeon-chul will deliver opening remarks and an official of the P4G Secretariat introductory remarks on the P4G. A panel discussion will ensue among the Danish Ambassador and other foreign diplomats to the ROK, experts in various fields and representatives from innovative Korean companies.
