1. The Korean government expresses deep concern over the many deaths and injuries caused by the terrorist attacks in Baghdad, Iraq, on January 21 and strongly condemns the terrorist acts.

2. The Korean government extends its deepest condolences to the innocent victims of the terrorist acts and their bereaved families as well as the people and the government of Iraq.

3. The Korean government, under its firm position that terrorism cannot be justified for any reasons, will continue to take an active part in the efforts of the international community to eliminate terrorism.
