1. Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha will visit Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from December 4 to 6 to attend the Manama Dialogue and hold a meeting with the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

2. At the invitation as a guest speaker for the 16^th Manama Dialogue, co-hosted on December 4 by the government of Bahrain and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), Minister Kang will deliver remarks on the theme “Global Governance in the Wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic.”

o Minister Kang will hold meetings with high-level officials including the foreign ministers of Middle Eastern countries on the occasion of the Manama Dialogue.

3. On December 5, Minister Kang will visit the UAE and meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Minister will also visit the planned site for Expo 2020 Dubai scheduled for next year and make a tour of the Korean Pavilion currently under construction. After the visit, Minister Kang will meet with Minister of State for International Cooperation and Managing Director for the Dubai Expo H.E. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy.
