1. The 2019 Trilateral Senior Officials Meeting among the Republic of Korea (ROK), Japan and the People’s Republic of China took place in Chengdu, China, on December 13, with Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Kim Gunn of the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senior Deputy Minister Takeo Mori of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vice Minister Luo Zhaohui of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs as head delegates of the three countries.

2. During the Meeting, the head delegates reviewed the progress in the preparations for the 8th ROK-Japan-China Trilateral Summit and agreed to work closely together toward the success of the Summit this year marking the 20^th anniversary of the trilateral cooperation.
