1. “The 6^th Republic of Korea-United States Energy Security Dialogue” will take place in Jeju on June 1, with Kwon Sei-joong, Director-General for Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Scientific Affairs of the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Melissa Simpson, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Energy Resources of the US Department of State, as head delegates of the two countries.

2. The two countries have agreed to hold a Track 1.5 Roundtable on the ROK-US Energy Cooperation, which will be joined by energy experts from the private sector, on May 31 back-to-back with the 6^th ROK-US Energy Security Dialogue. The Roundtable has been organized partly as an open program of the 14^th Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity, which will be held at the International Convention Center Jeju from May 29 to 31.
