1. The government of the Republic of Korea expresses deep disappointment and regret over the fact that leaders of the government and the National Diet of Japan once again visited and sent offerings to the Yasukuni Shrine, which glorifies Japan’s history of war of aggression.

2. The ROK government hopes that Japan will regain the trust of neighboring countries and the international community, and take the path towards peace by reflecting on and feeling remorse for its past wrongdoings based on a correct understanding of history.
