1. On February 20, Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Yun Kang-hyeon met with United States Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR) Mr. Francis Fannon, who is on a visit to the Republic of Korea from February 19 until 21, and discussed ways for comprehensive cooperation between the ROK and the U.S. in the energy sector.

2. During his visit to the ROK, Assistant Secretary Fannon will also meet with Korean businesspersons to discuss how the two countries can work together in a range of areas, including energy innovation, investment and renewable energy.
