1. The government of the Republic of Korea condemns the terrorist attack against civilians that occurred at a Riverside Drive complex in Nairobi, the Republic of Kenya, on January 15, local time; extends its deep condolences and consolation to the victims of the attack and their bereaved families as well as the government and the people of Kenya; and wishes for a speedy recovery of the wounded.

2. The government of the Republic of Korea, in line with its firm and consistent position that terrorism is a crime against humanity that cannot be justified for any reason, will continue to take part in the efforts of the international community to eradicate terrorism.
