1. The government of the Republic of Korea condemns in strong terms the suicide attack that occurred in Kabul, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, on November 20, and extends deep condolences and consolation to the victims and their bereaved families.

2. It is the firm position of the ROK government that terrorism is a crime against civilization and humanity that cannot be justified under any circumstances and must be eradicated at any cost.

3. The ROK government reaffirms its support for the efforts of the international community to stabilize and reconstruct Afghanistan, and thereby to establish peace in and eradicate terrorism from the country.
