2. The government of the Republic of Korea, perceiving the use of chemical weapons as a threat to international peace and safety that cannot, under any circumstances, be tolerated under international law, strongly condemns the use of such a weapon.

3. The government of the Republic of Korea supports the efforts of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to thoroughly investigate the case and will continue working closely with the international community toward a complete elimination of chemical weapons.
