1. On November 14, the government of the Republic of Korea named Ambassador to Sri Lanka Chang Won-sam as head delegate to the ROK-US negotiations on the tenth Special Measures Agreement.

2. Ambassador Chang, who has served as Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Diplomatic Minister to China, Director-General for Northeast Asian Affairs and Director-General for Human Resources, has rich experiences as a career diplomat in areas ranging from political affairs to economy and trade.

3. Ambassador Chang will be formally appointed to the post as soon as he returns home after completing diplomatic service in his host country.
