1. The Foreign Ministry has downgraded the travel-alert level for Niger’s capital of Niamey from the previous “Red Alert (Travel Restricted)” to “Yellow Alert (Highly Cautious),” effective from August 23.

2. The nationals of the Republic of Korea visiting or staying in Niger are advised to check the aforementioned travel-alert level issued by the Foreign Ministry and pay heed to their safety.
