1. On the sidelines of their 2016 meeting from March 14 through 18, the chiefs of the Republic of Korea’s overseas diplomatic missions visited Pangyo Techno Valley on March 15 to see for themselves how creative economy is moving forward.

2. During their visit, the mission chiefs were briefed about Pangyo Techno Valley by the Gyeonggi Institute of Science and Technology Promotion as well as about the progress in the projects conducted by the Center for Creative Economy and Innovation and the Gyeonggi Content Agency, which render support to startups. They also visited these facilities and saw for themselves the efforts that startups are making at their initial stages of operation.

3. The visit is seen to have served as an opportunity for the mission chiefs to witness in person at local facilities for creative economy the willingness and efforts to start new businesses and thereby to seek ways for the overseas missions to support bids of startups to expand their presence in foreign countries.
