1. The tenth Republic of Korea-Japan Security Policy Consultation -- a 2+2 director-general-level dialogue on foreign affairs and security between their Foreign and Defense Ministries -- will take place in Seoul on April 14, with Director-General for Northeast Asian Affairs Lee Sang-deok and Director-General for Asian and Oceanian Affairs Junichi Ihara of the ROK and Japanese Foreign Ministries leading their respective delegations.

2. In the meeting to come in five years since the ninth of its kind held in December 2009, the two sides will exchange views on matters of mutual concern, including their respective countries’ defense and security policies as well as the progress in bilateral cooperation in that regard; and the situation in Northeast Asia.
