1. The 4th round of negotiations on revising the ROK-US Nuclear Energy Cooperation Agreement was 
held in Seoul on December 6 with Park Ro-byug, Ambassador for the ROK-US Nuclear Cooperation 
Agreement, and Robert Einhorn, the US State Department's Special Advisor for Nonproliferation and 
Arms Control, as the heads of their respective government delegations. The negotiations were 
followed by working-level meetings on December 7 and 8.

2. In the meetings, recognizing the importance of expanding nuclear-energy cooperation in a mutually 
beneficial manner, the two sides had a constructive and sincere exchange of views to jointly draw up 
a revision draft.

3. The two sides agreed to meet again at an early date to discuss the issue based on the outcome 
of the latest meeting. The specific date of future meetings will be set after consultations through 
diplomatic channels.
