1. The Foreign Ministry has raised the Travel-alert Level for Côte d’Ivoire to Level 3 (Travel Restricted) 
from Level 2 (Highly Cautious) as of December 6. 

  ㅇ Concerning the results of the recent presidential election in Côte d’Ivoire, the confrontation between 
ruling and opposition parties is intensifying, and the possibility of uprisings including demonstrations 
is rising. The political and security situation in the country is considered to be very unstable.

2. Korean nationals staying in Côte d’Ivoire are requested to leave the country unless they have urgent 
business. Those who have been planning to travel to Côte d’Ivoire are advised to cancel or postpone 
their travel.
