1. Amid increasingly frequent earthquakes and steam eruptions near Mt. Agung in Bali, Indonesia, since September 24, considering the possibility of an imminent eruption of the Agung volcano, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Korea has decided to raise the travel-alert level for the islands of Bali and Lombok near Mt. Agung to Yellow Alert (Highly Cautious) from the previous Blue Alert (Precautious), effective from September 27.

※ Travel advisories for different parts of Indonesia
- Blue Alert (Precautious): The regions other than those under Yellow Alert
- Yellow Alert (Highly Cautious): Islands of Bali and Lombok, and provinces of Aceh, Maluku, Central Sulawesi and Papua

2. With the eruption risk of the Agung volcano raised to the highest level on September 22, Korean nationals are advised to refrain from traveling near Mt. Agung.

3. The Korean nationals planning to visit or staying in Indonesia are advised to check the travel advisories issued by the Foreign Ministry and to pay serious heed to their safety.
