Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

The government of the Republic of Korea will provide US$200,000 in humanitarian aid to the Republic of the Philippines, where a 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit northern Luzon on July 27 caused casualties and material damage.

The ROK government hopes that the humanitarian aid to the Philippines would help residents in affected areas swiftly bring stability to their daily lives and recover from the damage.
