Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

First, Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung Eui-yong will chair the 3^rd meeting of the Committee on Grant Strategy tomorrow, Wednesday, December 22.

In the meeting that will deliberate on and coordinate a range of matters regarding grants, 15 relevant government agencies, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Export–Import Bank of Korea will discuss strategies for multilateral development cooperation, ways to improve ODA training programs, grant ODA strategies implementation status, and 2022 annual ODA implementation plan on grants.

Next, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Jong Kun, together with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Le Yucheng, will hold the 9^th Korea-China vice foreign ministerial strategic dialogue in a virtual format on Thursday afternoon, December 23.

In the strategic dialogue, the two sides will extensively discuss issues of mutual interest, including the Korea-China relations, issues on the Korean Peninsula, and regional and global affairs.
