Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Taeho will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)-Asian Conference, which will take place on October 12 in a virtual format.

At the Conference, which will be held to commemorate the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of partnership between the OSCE and its Asian Partners for Co-operation, Vice Minister Lee will underscore the need for cooperation between Europe and Asia on transnational challenges including environmental issues and infectious diseases.
