Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang, Kyung-wha will attend the 7^th joint subcommittee meeting on diplomatic strategy coordination to be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 28.

The diplomatic strategy coordination committee meeting was launched in July last year to draw up proactive foreign affairs strategies amid changes in the international situation and to help respond to such changes in close cooperation between the government and the private sector.

Participants in the joint subcommittee meeting will discuss ways to deal with major complex issues facing the world amid the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as plans for the 3^rd committee meeting.
