1. On Friday 18 March Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung Eui-yong and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov exchanged congratulatory letters to mark the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

2. Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bayramov noted with satisfaction the continued advances in the bilateral ties in a range of fields, including the political, economic and cultural spheres, since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992. They looked forward to continuing to work closely together on the path ahead to further expand the cooperation between the two nations.
