1. Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark will make an official visit to the ROK on May 10-15, accompanied by a large delegation comprised of four Ministers and officials of 76 businesses.

2. During their visit to be made at the request of Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik, the Crown Prince and Princess will attend a welcome luncheon hosted by President Lee Myung-bak and the First Lady; pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister; attend an official dinner hosted by the Prime Minister and his wife; and take part in the opening ceremony of the 2012 Yeosu Expo.

3. The Crown Prince will also attend the 2nd Global Green Growth Summit as well as the 2nd Meeting of the ROK-Denmark Green Growth Alliance to deliver special and celebratory speeches. In addition, he will hold a large-scale business forum consisting of nine sub-groups to discuss ways to increase economic and people-to-people exchanges as well as substantive cooperation.

4. Crown Prince Frederik, who has visited the ROK in his capacity as a member of the International Olympics Committee, will be making his first official visit to the country as Crown Prince. The visit is expected to achieve much progress in developing the bilateral strategic partnership forged during President Lee’s state visit to Denmark in May 2011 as well as the green growth alliance.
