Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin will deliver opening remarks at the third forum on economic security and foreign affairs to take place at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul on the afternoon of Friday, June 9, to mark the first anniversary of the opening of the Center for Economic Security and Foreign Affairs.

In his opening remarks, Foreign Minister Park will share with the participants the achievements from the proactive pursuit of economic security diplomacy that the Korean government has made across the board over the past year. He will also highlight the Korean government’s commitment to continue implementing policies designed to foster an economic security landscape favorable to Korea. 

The forum will bring together some 70 people from various sectors, including the government, businesses, academic circles, diverse organizations and media outlets, for discussions on ways to bolster economic security amid the rapidly changing global economic order, including the restructuring of supply chains, among others.
