Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

On June 8, Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin will meet with Lesotho’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Lejone Mpotjoane and Minister of Public Works and Transport Matjato Moteane, who will visit Korea at the invitation of the Korea Foundation (KF).

In the meeting, the two sides will discuss ways to increase substantive cooperation in a range of areas, including trade and investment, development cooperation and infrastructure, and cooperation in the international arena.

The Korean government will also further enhance cooperation with Lesotho to ensure the success of the Korea-Africa summit in 2024.

The government hopes that the meeting with the Ministers of Lesotho would serve as an opportunity to further advance bilateral relations.
