Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin will deliver congratulatory remarks at the 2022 Africa Week Opening Reception hosted by the Korea-Africa Foundation tomorrow evening, Wednesday, May 25.

In his congratulatory remarks, Foreign Minister Park will stress the need to strengthen future-oriented cooperation between Korea and Africa in a range of areas, including economic affairs, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes that the upcoming Africa Week event will serve as an important opportunity to increase people’s understanding and awareness of Africa through diverse cultural and arts contents and contribute to expanding cooperation between Korea and Africa.
