1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), in cooperation with the metropolitan governments of Seoul, Daegu, Busan, and Incheon, will hold the 「18th International Organizations Career Fair」 in the four cities from July 7 (Mon) to July 10 (Thu), inviting human resources specialists from major international organizations. The Fair has played a vital role in introducing young, talented, and qualified Koreans to the recruitment systems of the UN and other international organizations. It has also served as a key platform for exploring career pathways at the UN and other international bodies.

※ 18th International Organizations Career Fair – Schedule and Venues

- Seoul: July 7 (Mon), 13:30–17:50, Seoul City Hall

- Daegu: July 8 (Tue), 13:30–17:50, Daegu EXCO

- Incheon: July 10 (Thu), 13:30–17:50, Songdo G-Tower (Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority)

2. Since 2008, the Foreign Ministry has hosted the international career fair annually, providing information on pursuing international careers such as its support programs for Korean nationals seeking to work in international organizations.

3. At the event, human resources specialists from nine major international organizations—including the UN Secretariat and the UNDP—will introduce each organization’s recruitment and HR systems, main areas of work, and best practices for preparing application documents. The officers will also hold a Q&A session with participants. In addition, on-site one-on-one mock interviews will be conducted for pre-screened applicants, providing an opportunity to experience the actual interview process for international organizations.

※ 9 Participating organizations: UN Secretariat, UNDP, UNEP, UNHCR, FAO, ICC, IAEA, OECD, and IOM (Seoul only)

4. Pre-registration for the event and detailed information are available on the International Organizations Recruitment Center website (https://unrecruit.mofa.go.kr). The Seoul session, scheduled for July 7 (Mon), will also be broadcast live on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ YouTube channel, "MOFA Korea Live" (https://www.youtube.com/user/MOFAKorea).

5. On the sidelines of the event, international organizations, their regional and country offices, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) based in Seoul, Daegu, Busan, and Incheon will operate career counseling and promotional booths.

6. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to actively support Korean nationals seeking career opportunities at international organizations in various ways, including career fairs, the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) and United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programs, and information services provided by the International Organizations Recruitment Center.
