The Government of the Republic of Korea expresses its deep concern over the recent Israeli military operation and its additional plan in Rafah in the Gaza Strip, where approximately 1.4 million people are sheltering.

In addition, the ROK Government calls on all parties to the Israel-Hamas armed conflict to protect civilians in accordance with international law and to fully implement relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The Government will continue to work with the international community to achieve improvements in the humanitarian situation in Gaza and to contribute to a swift resolution of the conflict.
