1. The Korean government has decided to provide US$500,000 in humanitarian assistance to Myanmar following the impact of Cyclone Mocha, which struck the country on Sunday, May 14, resulting in severe flooding and building collapses, causing immense damage. 

2. The Korean government hopes that the humanitarian assistance will help the affected people of Myanmar in swiftly bringing back stability and facilitating the early recovery of the impacted areas.
