1. The government of the Republic of Korea will provide US$1,000,000 in humanitarian aid to the affected population in Syria, whose northwestern and central regions were hit by a 7.7-magnitude earthquake on February 6, through an international organization.

2. The ROK government hopes that its humanitarian aid to the affected population in Syria will help to swiftly bring stability to their daily lives and restore the area hit by the earthquake.
