1. The Government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the conclusion of the agreement on maritime boundary between Israel and Lebanon on October 27 (local time), and appreciates constructive efforts of both Governments to reach an agreement, as well as the mediation role of the United States. 

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea hopes that the agreement will lead to peace, stability and economic prosperity in the region.
