1. The Korean government expresses its disappointment that the United Nations-mediated truce in Yemen expired on October 2 without an extension.

The Korean government appreciates the continued efforts of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg, as well as countries concerned including Saudi Arabia, to extend the truce, and hopes that the parties will reach an extension to bring about peace in Yemen through negotiations under the auspices of the UN.
