● Amb. Noh Kyu-duk, Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, had a telephone conversation with Mr. Funakoshi Takehiro, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, on the afternoon of September 15.

● The two sides shared their respective assessments of the short-range ballistic missile launches by the DPRK on September 15, and agreed to continue their close communication on issues related to the DPRK including the nuclear issue, building upon the consultations held in Tokyo earlier this week among the special representatives.  /END/
