1. With regard to the passing of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse in an armed attack at 1:00 am, July 7, Haiti time, the Korean government extends deep condolences to his bereaved family and the people of Haiti.

2. The Korean government hopes that, under these shocking circumstances of the passing of President Moïse, the people of Haiti will unite to restore political and social stability as soon as possible.
