1. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Jongmoon will visit Vienna, Austria, and Budapest, Hungary, from May 27 to June 1.

2. Vice Minister Choi will discuss with the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria ways to develop bilateral cooperation between Korea and Austria as well as cooperation in the international fora. Vice Minister Choi will also attend the unveiling of the memorial which is to be held by the Danube riverside, and express condolences to the victims and their families in commemoration of the second anniversary of the boat accident that occurred on May 29, 2019, in Budapest, Hungary.

3. Furthermore, Vice Minister Choi will discuss matters of mutual interest, including support for Korean companies’ investment in Hungary and the protection of overseas Korean nationals, with the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Ministry of Finance.
