Special Art Exhibition for 2021 P4G Seoul Summit to Be held by Daelim Museum

□ The 2021 P4G Seoul Summit Preparatory Office (Executive Director: Yoo Yeon-chul) announced that Daelim Museum will hold a special art exhibition titled starting May 20 as part of its promotional partnership with businesses for the ‘2021 P4G Seoul Summit.’


□ The exhibition offers a view on the environment, human beings, and sustainability through art reborn with a new purpose by new artists, created with materials on the verge of being thrown away including antiques and everyday objects.

     * Participating artists (23 Teams): Youngmin Kang, Kuo Duo, Haneul Kim, Hyunsu Kim, NiNE-Ist, Nosestudio, LOWLIT COLLECTIVE, Ryu Jong Dae, moonassi, Boooruru, Seotudio, soon.easy, An Min Ju, Jinyeong Yeon, OPEN PLAN, WKND Lab, GyuHan Lee, HaeKang LEE, JUST PROJECT, KyuHyung Cho, CURVESIGN, piecemoa, Henn Kim


□ The exhibition centers around a story about nature and the environment.

 ㅇ The exhibition starts on the second floor and runs on to the fourth floor, with each section displaying art made of different materials in the order of the amount of time needed for natural decomposition, starting with the slowest: glass-plastic-iron-fabric-wood-paper-eco-friendly materials.

 ㅇ After the exhibition, visitors can return to the first floor and browse through a variety of souvenirs produced in collaboration with artists and limited-edition products created by promotional partnering companies of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit.

 ㅇ The exhibition will comply with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines and tickets can be booked on Naver.


□ Yoo Yeon-chul, Executive Director of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit Preparatory Office, said, “It is my wish that the unique perspectives of the artists representing the future generation on the environment could deeply resonate with the visitors.“
