Dialogue to outline the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit and offer details on expected outcomes, etc.
Heads of diplomatic missions in ROK and officials of companies that signed MOUs with Preparatory Office to attend

□ Yoo Yeon-chul, Executive Director of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit Preparatory Office, will hold a Policy Dialogue for Korean and foreign press journalists on May 18 to outline the Summit and offer details on the expected outcomes of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit.


 ㅇ Date   :  May 18 (Tuesday), 15:00-16:00 KST (60 minutes)
 ㅇ Place : 10th Floor, Korea Press Center, Foreign Press Center Main Hall


□ To emphasize the P4G partnerships’ initiative of "responding to climate crisis and achieving the sustainable development goals with public-private cooperation“ and to raise awareness among foreign press, not only the government agencies (2021 P4G Seoul Summit Preparatory Office, Danish and Colombian Embassies in ROK) that participate in the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit, but also the private businesses (Ingka Holding B.V. (IKEA Korea’s parent company), Samdasoo and Tree Planet) will attend the Policy Dialogue.


 ㅇ The abovementioned private businesses have signed MOUs with the P4G Preparatory Office to jointly promote the Summit. And P4G collaboration products will be introduced to the on-site attendees.


□  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a total of 16 foreign press journalists, including two members of the Seoul Foreign Correspondents' Club, will attend the Policy Dialogue on-site. The event will be broadcasted live online.

□ Yoo Yeon-chul, Executive Director of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit Preparatory Office, said, "I hope this Policy Dialogue will be a good opportunity for foreign press reporters to understand and empathize with the objective and significance of the 2021 P4G Seoul Summit.
