1. The “fifth in the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) lecture series” will take place at the KNDA on November 18 under the theme of “Enhancing Peace through Disarmament and Nonproliferation.”

2. Under Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs Kim Won-soo of the UN will attend the event as a special guest and inform the other participants of the UN’s disarmament and nonproliferation efforts.

3. The event will be co-hosted by the KNDA, the Korea Nuclear Policy Society and the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) and bring together relevant scholars, foreign diplomats to the Republic of Korea and under- and graduate students.

4. Going forward, the KNDA will continue holding the lecture series in an effort to help the ROK people learn more about various diplomatic issues.
