1. A director-general-level consultation between Director-General for Northeast Asian Affairs Lee Sang-deok and Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau Junichi Ihara of the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Korea and Japan, respectively, will take place in Seoul on April 16 to discuss the issue of sexual slavery victims drafted for Japan’s Imperial Armed Forces.

2. The two countries have agreed to put to work bilateral consultation mechanisms between their Foreign Ministries at various levels ranging from working to director-general and vice-ministerial levels.
