1. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Panama, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Korea sent the “Beautiful Mind” troupe to the country. The troupe held three performances in the capital of Panama City on July 23-24 under the theme of “Beautiful Friends Concert” featuring traditional Korean music fused with classical music.

2. Beautiful Mind showcased a solo performance on July 23. On the following day, the music group held a performance at the Ann Sullivan Center Panama (CASPAN) that provides assistance to autistic children, as well as a joint performance with Panama’s national orchestra. The performances attracted keen interest, with the 750-seat national theater packed for them.

3. ROK’s Ambassador to Panama Doo Jung-soo commended the performances as highly successful, commenting that the first-ever joint performance with the Panamaian orchestra is largely symbolic of the friendly and cooperative relations between the ROK and Panama. He added that the event will contribute to ushering in a new chapter in the bilateral relations.
