1.        The 7th Round of Consultations on Consular Issues between the ROK and Russian Federation(RF) 
will be held in Moscow on March 23, 2004.

2.        The ROK delegation will be led by Director General of the Overseas Residents and Consular Affairs 
Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Kim Wook, and consist of related officials of the Ministry 
of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Justice, and the ROK Embassy in Russia.  The Russian 
delegation will be headed by Director of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 
Vladimir V. Kotenev, and consist of related officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of the 
Interior and FSB.

3.        The two sides will take this opportunity to discuss various issues of mutual interest and cooperative 
measures regarding consular affairs, including the conclusion of an extradition treaty between the ROK and 
RF, the improvement of procedures for visa issuance, and the security of Korean tourists traveling to Russia.
