1. The government of the Republic of Korea strongly condemns the heinous attack targeting civilians that transpired at Mindanao State University in Marawi, the Philippines, on December 3.  

2. The ROK government reaffirms its firm position that violent attacks against civilians cannot be justified under any circumstances, and remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting the efforts of the people and the government of the Philippines for peace and stability.
