The Korean government welcomes the recent release of detainees in Yemen and appreciates the continued efforts of UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg as well as the countries concerned, including Saudi Arabia and Oman, to establish peace and stability in Yemen.

The Korean government hopes that this engagement will create an opportunity to bring permanent peace in Yemen.
