I would like to send my best wishes to all Muslim communities in Korea and around the world as we welcome the holy month of Ramadan.

- We are reminded of its message of solidarity and tolerance by those who empathize with the needy through fasting, enduring hardships and giving charity through Zakat. 

- In keeping with this spirit of Ramadan, I sincerely wish peace and healing for those suffering in the ongoing COVID-19 situation, including medical staff fighting against the pandemic and those who have lost loved ones. 

- And I also hope that Ramadan can be a time to strengthen the global sense of harmony and benevolence and that prayers for peace resonate around the entire globe including Ukraine and Yemen. I reaffirm that Korea will actively join the international efforts for global peace and stability. Ramadan Mubarak!
