1. On Friday, January 28, Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung Eui-yong exchanged celebratory letters to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Republic of Moldova, which are cooperation partners for the ROK government’s New Northern Policy.

2. Minister of Foreign Affairs Chung and the Foreign Ministers of the four countries welcomed the continued development of bilateral relations in various areas, including political, economic and cultural affairs, since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, and expressed hope to continue to work closely together to further expand bilateral cooperation.
